Ahhhhh goats.  How did I ever survive without them????  They are funny and snuggly and wonderful!  We chose Nigerian Dwarfs for their size.   I knew that eventually we would milk them, but I didn't need a gallon a day.   We have just started milking our first doe after her sweet baby boy went to his new home.  As with everything, it has come with a learning curve and much spilt milk.  As a huge fan of goat cheese and homemade skin care, I'm willing to persevere until we find our groove.
