About Us

Hi, I'm Kristy, and along with my husband and our three daughters, we made the life-changing decision to leave Highlands Ranch for the peaceful charm of Elizabeth nearly 8 years ago. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! While the transition seemed daunting at first, we quickly discovered that we were never really missing anything – instead, we found ourselves embarking on an exciting adventure in homesteading.

That first year, you could often hear us saying, “A year ago, did you ever imagine we’d be doing this?” But with time, hard work, and a lot of learning, we became deeply connected with our livestock and the land. As I began mentoring others starting out on their homesteading journeys, I was amazed at how much I had learned along the way!

One of my dreams has always been to create a space where kids could experience life beyond screens and video games. I’ve finally found the courage to turn that dream into reality, and now we’re offering camps where children can immerse themselves in the joys of farm life. While we may not have a "polished" look (we're still working on the fencing!), I promise that your kids won’t mind. What they will remember is the joy of feeding a gentle donkey, finding eggs in the chicken coop, and discovering what it really means when someone says "he eats like a pig!" They'll burn off that boundless energy bouncing on the trampoline and splashing in the pool!
